Call for Speakers
The Call for Speakers is now live for Internet Librarian International, to be held 16-17 October 2006 in London (with pre-conferences or satellite events or workshops, or whatever we’re going to call them on Sunday the 15th of October). It just went up last week and already several people have submitted proposals. That’s really got me stoked! I’m looking for some great talks, great speakers, and truly international representation!
On another conference front, the Advance Program for WebSearch University is just about ready to go to the printers, so I guess that means it will be up on the Web site very soon. The dates are May 23-24, 2006 in New York and Sept 18-19, 2006 in Washington DC. For the calendar-challenged among you, that means the conference is Tuesday and Wednesday in New York (with pre-conferences on Monday) and Monday and Tuesday in Washington (with pre-conferences on Sunday).
Next week I’ll be in Houston for SLA’s Leadership Summit, so expect some conference coverage from Texas.
