Cycling for Libraries
This from Mace Ojala (who, as far as I know, is not related to me):
My dear colleagues, i’m happy to announce that the registration process for “Cycling for libraries” was opened at 12 o’clock CET, 32 minutes ago. There’s only room for 100
participants and this is getting quite a bit of international attention, so make so you and your friends register ASAP. You don’t want to miss this
Cycling for libraries is an independently organized un-conference for library professionals, by library professionals. We are leaving Copenhagen on 28th of May and
arriving to Berlin just in time for the 100th Deutscher Bibliothekartag 2011 jubilee conference.
For more information about this absolutely unique, new kind of library-conference see the website and meet us also on Facebook, Twitter
(#cyc4lib) and Flickr (cyc4lib).
It’s time to ride out of our beloved libraries and see what’s out there in the outside world. Time to get some fresh ideas, workshop like there is no tomorrow and get some physical exercise while we are at it!
On behalf of the Cycling for libraries -organizing network and waiting to meet you in the summertime,
Mace Ojala
Turku City Library/Cycling for libraries etc.

Hi Marydee! I do have some distant family over that side of the pond, somewhere up north which is typical for Scandinavian and Nordic emigrants. I’ve paid attention to your name before, but never started any research into it. “Ojala” is also a spanish word, not just a finnish surname. In spanish it’s not a name though.
Anyhow, thanks for posting this and welcome along in May+June if you can make it. There’s already some registrants from USA and Canada.
Cheers!
